The Midshires Way

The Midshires Way is a long distance footpath and bridleway which goes across the middle couties of England linking the Ridgeway and the Pennine Way.  Completed in 1994, it is approximately 225 miles long.

The Northamptonshire section runs from the Leicester border near Sutton Bassett to Salcey Forest. It passes west of Glassthorpe Hill near Harpole, briefly meeting the Macmillan Way.
